Jimmy V Foundation Fundraiser

Each Spring semester we collect donated meals from Res-Caf, the more meal donated, the more money we receive to give to charity. In the past this has been extremely successful for us in terms of meals collected and because of the generosity of the Umass students and Sodexho and due to our brothers hard work we have raised several thousand dollars in the past two years and plan on continuing that success. This year's fundraiser will be on May 2nd and located in the Woodland Commons from 10am-1pm.

Relay for Life

Theta Delta Chi participated in the Relay for Life Spring 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and is participating once more this Spring of 2009. Relay for life is an event in which participants gather donations and pledge to walk through the entire night in shifts to raise money to defeat Cancer.

Beach Cleanup

Theta Delta Chi participated in the Spring Beach cleanup hosted by MassPIRG. We helped to remove old lobster traps and other objects which harmed the wildlife there.

Polar Plunge

Members of Theta Delta Chi participated a Polar Plunge at Plymouth Beach in March of 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 to help raise money for a new cancer wing at Jordan's Hospital.
